Food presentation is just as important as the food itself for a memorable dining experience. Similar could be said for a premium cocktail. Ice is an integral ingredient in any cocktail but often does not get the attention it deserves. We will change that imbalance by creating pure, clear and slow melt ice blocks and spheres.

All our shapes are engineered with the ideal surface to volume ratio ensuring optimal chill factor and ultra slow melt. This helps prevent dilution, making sure that your last sip tastes just as good as your first. Using ultra purified R/O water, Ultraviolet light and directional freezing, Ötzi Ice is crystal clear with no added taste and impurities. Pure goodness really!

Ideal for single or double pour hard liquor on rocks in a low tumbler glass.

Negroni

Ingredients:

30 ml Republic of Fremantle Full Bodied Gin
35 ml Campari
25 ml Cocchi Vermouth di Torino

Method:

  • Chill your glass by placing it in the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Add the ingredients — gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth — into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  • Stir for 20–25 seconds until the mixture is very cold and slightly diluted.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over one large clear ice cube.
  • Garnish by expressing an orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it in or discard.
  • Serve immediately.
Highball G ‘n’ T

Ingredients:

30 ml Republic of Fremantle Full Bodied Gin
90 ml Tonic

Method:

  • Place ice in glass and allow to temper for 3min (this will prevent it from cracking)
  • Pour in a gin of your choice
  • Add the T
  • Serve immediately
Something strong on the rocks

Ingredients:

60 ml of hard liquor

Method:

Classic Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

60 ml bourbon or rye
1 sugar cube
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Strip of orange peel

Method:

  • Place sugar cube in a chilled rocks glass.
  • Add bitters: 2–3 heavy dashes of Angostura, plus an optional 1 dash orange bitters.
  • Add a splash of warm water (just a few drops) and muddle gently until the sugar is mostly dissolved and forms a paste.
  • Add bourbon (or rye).
  • Add one large ice cube (or build with a few smaller cubes if needed).
  • Stir in the glass for 10–15 seconds until cold and slightly diluted.
  • Express orange peel over the drink — squeeze the oils across the surface.
  • Rub the peel around the rim and place it in the drink.
  • Serve immediately.

Ötzi’s journey started in 2019, when two Perth brothers Kody and Nic founded Rocked. Their inspiration came from a shared love of hospitality and the art of a perfectly crafted drink. The mission was clear: to make the best quality ice and bring it to hospitality venues that cared. What began as Rocked quickly gained momentum across the rejuvenated Perth bar scene, and as the vision expanded, so did the brand. This evolution led to a full transformation and rebrand. Ötzi was born. Today the company is lead by co-owner and original founder Kody Read alongside a dedicated team who together are shaping the way people drink, right across the state.
