We are here to elevate the quality of the ice that goes into premium cocktails in order to let the cocktail be the hero – free of dilution and unwanted flavours.
Food presentation is just as important as the food itself for a memorable dining experience. Similar could be said for a premium cocktail. Ice is an integral ingredient in any cocktail but often does not get the attention it deserves. We will change that imbalance by creating pure, clear and slow melt ice blocks and spheres.

Crystal Clear
Our equipment works on the principle of directional freezing. The result is ice unparalleled in clarity, superior for presentation and an elevated drinking experience.
Pure H20
At Otzi Ice we use only the purest water, incorporating reverse osmosis and UV filtration. After all we are big into science and health. It tastes as good as it looks.
Slow Melt
Our ice melts 4x slower than regular ice. The low surface area to volume ratio means our ice is engineered to ensure your drinks stay colder for longer with less dilution.
F A Q
Generally speaking it melts 4 times slower than regular ice. The actual melting time depends on a variety of factors including ambient temperature, drink temperature etc. As a rule of thumb it should last 60-90 minutes, so enough for 2-3 drinks.
Our ice tastes of pure clean water, nothing else. It gets stored in a sealed tray inside a dedicated ice freezer until delivery with close attention to the cold chain and stringent quality assurance processes.
I’m glad you asked, now this is exciting. Our specialized ice equipment works on the principle of directional freezing. Similarly, to the phenomenon of a natural lake or river freezing crystal clear “top down” in sub-zero temperatures, our ice freezes “bottom up”, pushing impurities and tiny bubbles to the top. The result is crystal clear ice.
Being slow melt it can certainly be used for multiple drinks. At least 2, if not 3. Said that we should all drink responsibly.
